Hall Renovations

The Hall committee are working on renovating the Hall. Substancial funding has been made available for this work by Kingoldrum Landward West Community Grant Scheme, KLWCGS.

Work completed

• Repairs to the roof including refitting valleys between porch and hall and sealing gap between tin and slate roof [2022]
• Repair rotten timber in porch and other timber repairs [2002]
• Repointing of all external stonework [2023]
• Replace main hall ceiling (and new insulation in roof)
• Replace rotten Kitchen window [2024]
• Kitchen now fully refurbished with new wall linings/ceiling, floor and units [2024]

Work in progress

• Digging and installing french drain at west end of kitchen to prevent future damp problems

Future Work

• Improve toilets
• Improve access path (remove steep slope)
